To Persist or to Give Up

In my experience, I once made a plan to learn to play the piano. At first, I was very excited and practiced every day. However, after a few months, I found it really difficult and boring. I had to read complicated music sheets and practice the same pieces over and over again. So I gave up.
The reason I gave up was that I didn’t see any quick progress and lost interest. But now I realize that I should have been more patient and persistent. Learning new skills takes time and effort. If I had kept going, I might have been able to play beautiful music. This experience taught me that giving up easily is not a good idea. In the future, I will try my best to stick to my plans and not give up so quickly.
